Profits from the sale of this book will help send a Ukrainian child to "Camp Amerikraine." "Camp Amerikraine" is an annual Bible camp where the young people of Ukraine come to learn of God. Christians from both America and Ukraine staff the camp. The Eastern European nation of Ukraine is home to nearly 46 million people. In 1991, this formerly communist country, gained its independence when the Soviet Union dissolved. Since 1993, Jeff Abrams, minister at Tuscumbia, has been actively involved in doing mission work in and around the city of Kramatorsk, Ukraine. Over the years, numerous congregations have been established, strong relationships have been built with public and private schools and universities, humanitarian containers have been shipped, and hospitals and orphanages have received badly needed supplies. In 2004, a Christian School, under the direction of Ukrainian Christians, was begun in the facilities of the Kramatorsk Church of Christ. This school presently has 75 students devoted to learning English, the Bible and a value system that will improve their lives. In 2002, "Camp Amerikraine" was launched. Every summer, a team of about 12 Americans, under the direction of Jeff Abrams, conducts a Bible camp for about 100 young people from the Kramatorsk region. A staff of about 12 Ukrainian Christians also assists in the operation of this camp. After camp concludes, a VBS is conducted, orphanages are visited and various congregations are visited and strengthened. Each Summer, as a result of "Camp Amerikraine," approximately 10-12 souls put on Christ in baptism. Your generosity will also help:
